Insurance Special Assessment – Payment Reminder

A gentle reminder, the $1,775 Insurance Special Assessment was due on March 1st. Payments made after the grace period will be subject to the same delinquency and collection procedures as regular HOA dues, in accordance with the Association’s CC&Rs. For data tracking and future insurance considerations, it is important to gauge the community’s ability to meet special assessment obligations. As of the end of this week, 37% of homeowners have submitted their assessment payments. Maintaining a strong payment rate is essential for financial planning and ensuring the community meets its obligations effectively.

For more details, please refer to the mailed notices from RealManage or visit our community website: www.LaurelMagnoliaHOA.com. If you have any questions, please contact RealManage directly.

Volunteer Opportunity – Fire Safety & Compliance Committee

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to lead our Fire Safety & Compliance Committee. In this role, you will collaborate with our Treasurer, Tiana Capri, to research and implement fire prevention initiatives. Additionally, this position involves exploring grant opportunities to enhance property safety. If you are interested in volunteering, please email landm.hoa.treasurer@gmail.com.

Painting Project Update

Thank you for your continued patience as we progress through the painting project despite weather delays. Work is scheduled to begin this week on Building 66, and painting will continue along Rawhide. Please be sure to slow down and exercise caution near traffic cones and lifts when entering or exiting through the Magnolia entrance. Access to the complex via the Magnolia entrance may be periodically disrupted.

Community Reminder: Pet Waste Policy

To maintain a clean and pleasant environment, we kindly remind all pet owners to ensure their pets use landscaped areas for relief and to clean up any waste.

Pet waste on sidewalks is unacceptable and creates an unsanitary condition for residents. Please take the time to train and guide your dog towards the landscape. If an accident occurs, pet owners need to clean it completely to avoid potential fines for professional cleaning. Thank you for keeping our community clean and enjoyable for all.

Daylight Saving Time

Daylight Saving Time started yesterday. As you set your clocks ahead, remember to check your smoke detector batteries. Smoke detectors have a ten year life. If you haven’t replaced yours, consider a newer model with a ten-year battery so there’s no need to check or change for a decade! Each bedroom should have a smoke detector. Each floor of your home should have a carbon monoxide detector.

Thank you,
Laurel and Magnolia HOA
