Lisa Quade
Hi, I'm Lisa Quade!
I am a proud California native and have called San Diego home for over 35 years after moving here from Huntington Beach to attend SDSU. We are empty nesters and I live here in Laurel with my husband, Robert, and our rescue puppy Poppy. My oldest is a schoolteacher in Beaverton, Oregon while my youngest is attending Veterinary School in London, England. They are my pride and joy!
I have extensive experience in management of projects, teams and finances. Professionally, I work at Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego where I manage more than 300 physicians for the Emergency Department, NICU, Child Abuse, Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric divisions. I am responsible for creating and managing budges more than $500,000,000 annually.
We have lived in the area since 1990 and previously I was the president of our HOA at Meadowood (right across Rancho Santa Fe Rd.). We moved to Laurel and Magnolia after it was time for our girls to go to college and have been here for over 8 years. In that time, I have seen the neighborhood go through many changes. I can provide a bit of a historical perspective of how it was pre-COVID as that seemed to be when we saw a notable change in the neighborhood. That also happened to be as the neighborhood turned 10 years old so much was just timing.
My goal is to restore the community to the wonderful neighborhood we all deserve and pay for. I hope to assist in this by being open minded and think about everyone as we are all in various places in life.
