Carlos Terríquez
Hi, I'm Carlos Terriquez!
I am a San Diego native and original owner, having purchased my home when the property was a dirt lot. I have a daughter who attends San Elijo Middle School and have been married to my wife, Mieko, for 15 years. You may recognize me as one of the residents who played street badminton during the pandemic. I believe in the simple joys of chatting with neighbors; staying active is a great way to foster a sense of fun and camaraderie in our community.
I am passionate about justice and ensuring everyone's voice is heard. Having worked at the Courthouse for 25 years as a Paralegal, I am well-versed in rules and regulations. As Laurel and Magnolia celebrate their 10th anniversary, it's time to review our Bylaws, CC&Rs, and governing policies to ensure they are practical and serve the needs of our property and residents. I am bilingual, which comes in handy whether communicating with residents or contractors whose second language is English.
My goal is to ensure our best interests are represented and to guide the team in navigating vendor obligations. With my strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the legal network I have developed through my experience in the legal field, I will help ensure compliance with our governing policies and contribute to the accuracy of our financial reviews.
